Wine Class Supper Club: Que Syrah Syrah

Completing the trifecta of Riesling and Pinot Noir as sommeliers’ favorite grapes, Syrah’s flavors in its top form are aromatically beguiling. The wine’s combination of dark berries with smoked meat, herbs, mushrooms, and spice – unlike any other innocuous wines in the market – assault the senses appealingly. This is a carnivore’s grape as it complements different meats’ umami-rich flavors in ways that it highlights rather than obliterate them.

This class will showcase the grape from its classical region of the Rhone Valley. Come join us and discover these wines’ extreme ability to age over the years – from top appellations of Cornas, Cote-Rotie, Hermitage, and Saint-Joseph. Wines will be poured along with a gourmet course prepared by Chef Colin Bedford.

Seats for this class and dinner are limited due to the availability and rarity of the wines being poured for the evening. Seats are at $150 per person.
