Wine Class Supper Club: From Bourgogne Rouge to Grand Cru Burgundy: Exploring Pinot Noir at its Pinnacle
Pinot Noir is one of the most ubiquitous grapes today. Some are earthy and tart, some chockful of ripe fruit and toasty oak, some a combination of the two. It can be the friendliest grape varietal – perhaps even the first you started liking – but it can also be the most complex, perplexing, and awe-inspiring wine especially if coming from the hallowed vineyards of Burgundy. Wines from this region convert mere Pinot Noir lovers into life-long devotees.
This class explores this ancient grape from its origins in Burgundy in its different levels of quality. If you’re a Pinot Noir lover and want to taste what makes wine connoisseurs go crazy about this grape, attending this class. Wines from Gevrey-Chambertin, Chambolle Musigny, Vosne-Romanee, Pommard, and Volnay will be poured along with a gourmet course prepared by Chef Colin Bedford.
Seats for this class and dinner are limited due to the availability and rarity of the wines being poured for the evening. Seats are at $150 per person.
The fine print: Classes are non-refundable. Please include the names of attending guests in the gift message area.
