Hungary and Greece: History and Beverage Collide

Bull’s Blood… Blood of Hercules. With comparisons evoking colorful and strong pictures, Hungarian and Greek wines are steeped in so much myth, legend, and history in its evolution in today’s world. It’s historical journey touched different corners of present-day vineyards, from its grapes, to winemaking techniques, to wine styles. Join this class and discover a different side of the wine world – while every oenophile knows about Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, and Sauvignon Blanc, this class will introduce tongue-twisting grape varietals such as Xinomavro, Agiorgitiko, Kadarka, Kékfrankos, and Hárslevelű.

Seats are at $50 per person and include wines, tasting bites, tax, and gratuity. This class will be held at the Fearrington House Restaurant.
